Kindergarten Principal

We are looking for a **Principal** to join our team to oversee our kindy and foster a healthy learning environment for our students. The principal responsible in higher level day-to-day operations in a school, create a safe learning environment and set performance goals for both teacher and students. To succeed in this role, you should be able to make quick decisions under pressure and have a comprehensive understanding of the national education system and its regulations. A strong organizational abilities is vital to ensure that you demonstrated as a good principal.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- The principal shall serve as the educational leader for the professional and classified staff in the school and cooperate with administration in determining the goals and objective for the schools.
- Plan and work with the administration, and evaluation of all aspects of the educational program.
- Work with teachers and students in developing a common understanding of disciplinary procedures and expected behavior in the framework of board policy as well as explaining and interpreting procedures to handle all emergencies arising in the school.
- Strive to develop and maintain a system of records that will indicate students’ progress in relation to selected goals and objective of the school.
- Responsible for efficient and smooth running of the school.
- Constantly inspire, motivate teachers and ensuring that they are passionate and proficient in teaching young children.
- Orients and assists new staff and new students and provide opportunities for their input in the school.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Preferably 8 years of experience as a kindergarten teacher and 4 years as principal.
- Have patience and passion to teach and deal with young children.
- Pedagogical, team player, committed, dedicated, proactive.
- Will need to prepare and follow fun appropriate activities according to lesson plan.
- Good command of English and Malay. **Mandarin will be an added advantage**.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
