Tool Crib Attendant

Job Summary
- Assist the Tooling Manager and supervisor in managing WinTool/Store and control Store expenses in a cost-effective manner while maintaining consistent standards of quality.
- The tool crib attendant issues tools, dies and equipment to workers, maintains records of issued tools, and monitors the tool crib inventory.
- Supporting QHSE implementation in the shop.

Roles and Responsibilities
- To maintain inventory accuracy of Manufacturing Shop Store and conducting stock take to match the data accuracy in the system.
- Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools,consumables and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory. Maintains records in Wintool system.
- To properly charged out of store items to Shop Floor Employees and ensure that only wear inserts / tooling are exchanged. The store transaction needs to be controlled and ensure the Store Inventory is accountable.
- To control the Store Inventory and ensure all items are properly control with reorder points.
- To control, monitor and report the consumable expenses against the budgeted amount of departments in operation.
- To maintain inventory accuracy of WinTool/Store by cycle count and stock take to match the data accuracy. Ensure proper charging out/in for all tooling.
- Create shopping cart and purchase request to top up tooling inventory.
- To control, monitor and report the tool damages cost and tooling issues to Section Manager.
- To control gauges store in tool crib. Ensure the gauges are calibrated.
- Co-ordinate with internal departments to ensure tooling/consumables and hardware are available for supporting shop floor requirement. Once tooling damage report is raised, make sure store ordered tool replacement.
- Deal with suppliers to source items and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
- To maintain housekeeping in WinTool/Store and surrounding areas using 5S approach
- Ad-hoc jobs assigned by superior.
- Ensure compliance to all health, safety and environment policies

Experience and Qualification
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
