**Job Purpose**:** As **APAC Legal & Compliance Manager** you will be **responsible to regularly and proactively advise and support business on all legal and compliance matters across our APAC operations (except China)

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Interact effectively with business teams across APAC to understand business challenges and provide legal advisory
- Draft, review and negotiate all sorts of commercial contracts for various jurisdictions
- Manage outside counsels
- Take preemptive measures to avoid legal risks and conflicts
- Provide legal services and maintaining and coordinating contract administration
- Draft, review and implement company policies and regulations;
- Provide legal and compliance training and advise on new laws and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Law degree and admitted to the Bar in Malaysia or Singapore or another APAC country
- Work experience as an attorney-at-law in a reputable law firm and as in-house counsel, preferably in the healthcare/medical industry of at least 5 years post bar exam
- Cross-cultural work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proficiency in English (verbally and in writing)
- Strong analytical skills, willingness to learn
- strong digital mindset, allowing the implementation of AI based contracting tools and willingness to professionalize the contract administration
- Strong attention to detail required
- Ability to work with multiple levels throughout the APAC organizations
- Demonstrates initiative and ability to function independently
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with personnel at all organizational levels
- Good team player, with sound judgment, proactive and pragmatic, hands-on mentality to work in a hectic environment; ability to prioritize and organize work effectively to meet deadlines
