The Role

Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping employees, has the authority to hire or discharge, plans and assigns work assignments, give training for newly recruited employees, audit and inspects housekeeping personal work assignment and requisition supplies. Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service.Provides support to the Executive Housekeeper in all areas of Housekeeping operation, such as staff training, coaching, counselling and also enforces to the hotels standard operating procedures. Assist the Executive Housekeeper to establish and create new policies & procedures. Assigns duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness. Prepares and distributes the Room assignment sheet and floor keys to room attendant.Maintain clear and efficient communication and coordination with the Front Office and other departments of the hotel.Coordinates the cleaning of the room carpets, upholstery, and draperies as needed, along with deep cleaning projects and window cleaning as necessary.Coordinates the cleaning schedules for lobby area, public restrooms, telephone areas, hallways, entrances, elevators.Coordinates periodic major cleaning projects including carpet shampooing, cleaning of walls and baseboards, cleaning of windows, elevator doors and tracks.Coordinates cleaning of all meeting rooms after a completed function.

2 - 3 years equivalent working experiences.

Diploma in tourism and hospitality management

Good leadership skills

Energitic and productive

Strong communication skills.

Able to work flexible hours and shift duties.

Multitasking as working under two intergrated hotels such as PARKROYAL COLLECTION & Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur
