Jr. Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:
Set up and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
**2.** **Maintenance and Upgrades**:Perform routine maintenance tasks such as hardware upgrades, software updates, and system patches.
Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues to prevent downtime.
**3. Troubleshooting and Technical Support**:Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users and within the network infrastructure.
Provide timely technical support to users, both in person and remotely.
**4. Network Security**:Implement and maintain security measures to protect the network and systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
Regularly update and maintain firewall settings, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
**5. Data Backup and Recovery**:Develop and execute data backup and recovery plans to safeguard critical information.
Ensure data integrity and perform data restoration when necessary.
**6. Documentation and Reporting**:Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory, system configurations, and network topology.
Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions.
**7. User Training**:Provide training and guidance to end-users on using hardware, software, and networking resources effectively.
