Purchasing Executive/ Assistant

1. To performs a variety of general purchasing support tasks in a purchasing department 2. Responsible for the ongoing purchasing and sourcing activities that could generate more cost saving for the company. 3. Working closely with cross-functional teams for cost control and recommend purchasing process improvements. 4. Perform supplier sourcing, evaluation, assessment and selection, negotiation, performance monitoring, vendor relationship management and continuous improvement for the company. 5. Responsible to process purchase orders in the ERP system. 6. Maintain and upkeep a good vendor management system. 11. Source for new parts, materials, services or suppliers when the need arises. 12. Deal with suppliers on any quality issues, products replacement, products sample request, pricing and etc. 14. Participate in purchasing reports preparation. 15. Perform data analysis for improvements in purchasing. 16. Participate in monthly purchasing ranking 17. Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time. 18. To undertake any other ad hoc duties/task/projects assigned by the Immediate Superior, General Manager and above when required. Requirement: 1. Diploma or Degree in any discipline 2. Minimum 2 years’ experience 3. Experience in material needs assessment, forecasting and buying role or equivalent 4. Good commercial, communication and negotiation skills. 5. MS Office and relevant procurement software.
