**Responsibilities based on Objectives**:

- **Update and maintain a high-up-time IT system and infrastructure (virtual & physical) for optimal organisation-wide operations**:
Learn, adapt, update, and maintain existing systems to ensure smooth project executions and excellent branding exercise.

Create, Manage, maintain, upgrade, and document maker space’s physical infrastructure, tools, and assets which include but are not limited to tablets, laptops, microcontrollers as well as various hand tools and materials.

Research the best IT practices to increase efficiency for Arus’ project and operations.Support ad-hoc IT roles for Arus’ projects.
- **Drive data-driven impact measurement across various projects**:
Conduct and lead data analysis based on feedback forms from various projects in Arus to ensure project learnings are shared effectively across project leads.

Collect, clean, analyse data from various projects and operations.

Create and visualise impact data on a dashboard using Google Studio or any other relevant software.

Maintain a clear and timely documentation on Arus data research using statistical method which includes but not limited to the types of stats test, how to interpret the numbers, and how to calculate the relevant metrics.

**Key Measures of Success**:

- Adaption rate of automation softwares in Arus.
- A live impact dashboard.
- Maker Space asset inventory tracking.
- Maker Space SOP.
- Utilisation of event space.
- Timeliness of inventory record.
- Innovation in project approaches.
- Satisfaction level from Arus staff on value add to their job
- Timeliness of response to technical support queries

**Key Results**:

- All internal IT systems are adopted by all projects in Arus.
- A live impact dashboard that compiles impact from all projects in Arus.
- Maker Space Asset Inventory Tracking is well maintained and adopted organisation wide.
- Maker Space SOP is established with high compliance.
- All IT related operations are well maintained with high up time.
- Support company’s vision and direction for any tech-related metrics, innovation and continuous improvement

**Expected skills**:

- **Programming skills **Able to write code efficiently with proper documentations
- **Organised and logical thinking skills **Able to debug issues from the existing IT systems and fix the issues.
- **Data analysis skills **Able to conduct data analysis using Google Spreadsheets and other relevant tools.

**Requirements**:

- **Must-have technical expertise**:
Familiarity or proficient with relational database design and SQL

Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages:Python, Javascript

Familiarity or basic understanding of at least one of the following languages / knowledge:
PHP
C
Object oriented programming
Dynamic programming

Basic understanding of HTML / CSS / RESTful API
- **Desirable technical expertise**:
Have experience maintaining a learning management system (Canvas / Moodle / other relevant LMSes)

Familiarity in data analytic skills (training will be provided on-job if do not possess this knowledge)

Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (deployment, maintenance, optimization), Google Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio), and PowerBI

Familiarity in at least one of the following programming languages:
Python
Javascript
C

Holder of any IT certifications that are relevant such as AWS or GCP certifications (training will be provided on-job for relevant skills)

Familiarity with AppSheet or any other no-code platform
- Proficient in Google products such as Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Classroom, Google Sites, Google Docs.
- Must be able to commit to working from the Penang office and travel independently between multiple work sites if needed.
- Must be able to commit to outstation work if needed - costs for outstation work to be borne by Arus.
