**Preschool Teacher**

Menara Hap Seng, KL & Dwi Emas International School, Shah Alam | Full-time position

As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for our kindergarten students. Your primary responsibilities will involve teaching and providing care for kindergarten students.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach and tutor kindergarten students
- Provide supervision to children, including guiding and accompanying them to their classrooms, and restroom facilities, as required.
- Substitute and sit in classes when required as instructed by the kindergarten Teacher Support
- Attend all relevant training sessions organized by the school or external parties to further enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Attend and participate in school activities, events, graduation, concert days, field trips and functions held both on-campus and at external locations.
- Proactively prepare lessons and learning materials, ensuring classes are engaging and aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Ensure the safety of students at all hours. This includes all activities and lesson time as well as meal times and play.
- Assist in the preparation of classroom materials, decorative needs and resources.
- Document and track students’ work and progress for assessment and reporting purposes.

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- Several years of experience in early childhood education or a related field is strongly preferred
- Pertain some understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents and colleagues
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and responsibly.
- Passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and making a change in the education world.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of people in the organisation.
- Knowledgeable in using Google Drive, Google Documents and Google Sheets
