**Job Title: Allergist/Immunologist**

**Job Summary**:As an Allergist/Immunologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with allergies, asthma, immunodeficiency disorders, and autoimmune diseases. Your role involves patient evaluation, conducting specialized tests, recommending treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Patient Evaluation and Diagnosis**:Conduct thorough medical evaluations and assessments of patients with allergies, asthma, immunodeficiency disorders, and autoimmune conditions.
Perform specialized diagnostic tests, including allergy testing, pulmonary function tests, and immunological assays.
Accurately diagnose and classify immune-related disorders and allergies.

**Treatment Planning**:Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their diagnoses, medical history, and immunological profile.
Prescribe medications, allergen immunotherapy (allergy shots), and other therapeutic interventions.
Recommend lifestyle modifications, including dietary changes and environmental control measures.

**Immunodeficiency Management**:Evaluate and manage patients with immunodeficiency disorders, such as primary immunodeficiencies and HIV/AIDS.
Administer immunoglobulin therapy and coordinate with infectious disease specialists for the treatment of opportunistic infections.

**Patient Care**:Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Provide patient education regarding their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Address patients' questions and concerns.

**Collaboration**:Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including pulmonologists, rheumatologists, dermatologists, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases.

**Research and Continuous Learning**:Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in allergy and immunology.
Engage in continuous medical education and professional development activities.
Participate in clinical trials and research projects related to immune-related disorders and allergies.

**Record Keeping**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
Ensure compliance with documentation standards and legal requirements.

**Quality Assurance**:Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and safety of allergy and immunology services.
Adhere to infection control protocols.

**Qualifications**:

- Medical degree (MD or equivalent).
- Completion of a residency program in internal medicine or pediatrics, followed by a fellowship in allergy and immunology.
- Valid medical license and registration.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties and work flexible hours.

**Job Type**: Commission

**Salary**: From RM20,000.00 per month
