**Purpose of the position**:
The main role of this position is to support the Global operation in the below aspects:
- Responsible for assisting in all procurement-related issues, from maintenance of purchase information to issuing of purchase orders
- Extracting relevant data from several reporting platforms to monitor KPIs for management review
- Responsible to ensure effective communication in JIRA platform
- Global key contact for any escalation from Frontlines
- Key-user for SAP in relevant fields
**Main tasks and responsibilities**:
- Issue and follow up on purchase orders
- Communicate purchase/delivery information to relevant stakeholders promptly
- Follow up on delivery schedule
- Review vendor invoices to enable payment processing
- Prepare procurement-related reports
- Involved in commercial discussion with vendors
- Tracking of delivery accuracy and administering late penalties
- Resolve purchase claims/discrepancies
- Involved in communication with vendor on all sorts of queries
- Ensure purchasing information in system is up to date
- Performing ad-hoc assignments
**What you’ll need to succeed**:
Education
- Relevant tertiary education or 2 years of related working experiences within equivalent industries
Experience
- Work experience from similar industries will be an advantage Fresh graduates are welcome to applyCompetencies
- Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
- Able to multitask and work independently
- Result oriented and able to work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Confident in presentation skills
- Customer oriented with sense of urgency and ability to handle customers in a professional way
- Uses a methodical and systematic approach
