Hostel Warden

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Coordination with HR personnel on hostel management
- Responsible person for audit compliance (RBA, JTK - Akta 446)
- To ensure the general well-being of the residents which includes cleanliness, health, housekeeping, all maintenance issues, safety and security.
- Responsible on the worker’s discipline in the hostel and ensure workers adhere to hostel housekeeping, rules & regulations.
- Person In Charge on conducting preliminary investigation on misconduct that happen in the hostel premise and report to HR. Report, manage & handle any disciplinary problems & misbehaviors.
- Person In Charge to accompany hostel occupants to lodge report in police station if necessary.
- To conduct patrolling at the hostel from time to time including inspection / spot checks.(random night checks). Monitoring and performs inspections of the hostel facilities & accommodation and fill in checklist.
- Manage and plan workers accommodations as per repatriation and arrival.
- Setup of new hostel including furniture and its necessities for new workers.
- Permitting only authorized person/visitors to enter the premises..
- Protecting company equipment and properties against act of vandalism, theft or sabotage.
- Identifying any hostels damages and repair required.
- Documenting and record information in standard form for any hostels repair and complaint.
- Monitoring any hostels maintenance work and repairs to ensure good quality work.
- Coordinate for room allocation & keys distribution for new workers
- Monitor collection of utilities bills (electricity & water) every month (if required)
- To response during crisis situations such as an emergency a riot or a natural disaster.
- Willing to work night shift and long hours including evenings and weekends (when required)
- To arrange sick workers to clinic / hospital.
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Minimum of SPM or equivalent.
- Able to read and write in Bahasa Malaysia & English.
- Knowledge of MSOffice - MsWord, MsExcel is added advantage
- Able to coordinate work tasks well

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
