Social Media Executive

Cheras, Malaysia Popular Book Co. (M) Sdn Bhd Full time

Develop, maintain, manage, updating, monitor and enhance all POPULAR’s Online channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube and Google related publicity.
- Measure and evaluate the impact of Online campaigns/activities conducted. Analyse statistical data and generate reports for the management’s review and at the same time contribute ideas and/or solutions to the management based on analysis.
- Managing the social media posting schedules and preparing various material eg caption copy, photo, video etc to be uploaded accordingly.
- Conceptualise innovative and creative plans for short and long term online branding and marketing strategy as well as promotion campaigns to build and maintain Company’s strong presence in the market using available online marketing tools.
- Coordinate and liaise with various departments for effective content execution on all POPULAR’s Online channels.
- Explore on new social channels, blogs and influencers for relevance/trend identification, and other relevant online data.
- Manage and enhance online Customer Service Management in the Online channels. Ensure all queries are being responded to in a time efficient manner and in accordance to Company’s policies.
- To execute ad-hoc projects, including but not limited to Online marketing, as and when assigned by the Company.

**Requirements**:

- Must possess at least a Diploma in Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing or equivalent.
- Must possess at least minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in the related field/ industry.
- Passionate in digital media or interactive/ online-related work.
- Must be aware and constantly keep up-to-date on the latest developments on the social media front, including but not limited to the latest tools, services, platforms and implementations of social media in businesses.
- Good time-management skills - responsive, flexible and be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, and able to meet strict deadlines.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin (for write up purpose on various social media channels).
- Fun and outgoing personality is an added advantage.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as a team and result-oriented.
- Based in **Cheras**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM1,457.29 - RM4,238.22 per month
