Yard Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of container and cabin repair and fabrication activities in the yard, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of repair technicians and fabricators, including training, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Monitor the repair process closely, ensuring efficient workflow, timely completion of projects, and effective utilization of resources.
- Conduct regular inspections of containers and cabins to assess maintenance and repair needs, identifying and addressing issues proactively to minimize downtime and maximize asset utilization.
- Collaborate with the procurement department to monitor and manage the inventory of containers and cabins, including tracking incoming and outgoing units, ensuring accurate stock levels, and coordinating with suppliers as necessary.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, conducting regular safety meetings and promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members.
- Maintain accurate records of repair activities, inventory movements, and related documentation, utilizing appropriate tracking and reporting systems.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and logistics, to ensure smooth and efficient flow of containers and cabins in and out of the yard, coordinating schedules and prioritizing work as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to container and cabin repair and fabrication, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing relevant changes.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide updates, address any issues or concerns, and foster a positive work environment.
- Assist in resolving customer inquiries or complaints related to container and cabin repairs, providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in a relevant field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the container or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of container and cabin repair and fabrication techniques, standards, and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in inventory management and tracking systems.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends, as needed.

**Salary**: RM2,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
