**Your Role and Responsibilities**

**As a UIUX Designer in IBM, You will**:

- Coordinate with product management, design team and engineering to define and implement innovative design solutions that align with business direction and improvements in user experience
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design challenges. Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Illustrate all design ideas from concept to hand-off to engineering. Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Build wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, sitemaps and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Engage users/clients in the design process and evaluate user feedback
- Seek to establish and promote design guidelines, best-practices and standards
- Experience in creating prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps. Proficiency in visual design, wire-framing and rapid prototyping tools
- Ability to communicate your designs and key breakthrough deliverables to peers and business partners
- Ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Able to work independently (unsupervised) and as an active member of a team
- Experienced working in an Agile/Scrum development process environment
- Experienced in both creative agency and client-side environment preferred

**About You**:

- Design Thinking and human-centric problem-solving.
- Design Research, User Experience Design, Service Design, Design Systems, Design Ops
- Create visually compelling representations of the solution's high-level interaction, navigation, and organization design (i.e., concept models).
- Develop visual representations of the organizational structure, hierarchy, and relationships of screens in a site (i.e., site maps).
- Develop visual representations of the interactions between the user and the functional modules in the solution.
- Deep knowledge surrounding customer segments and behaviors across multiple industries.
- Conduct and analyze C-level stakeholder interviews to understand key success factors for a project or pursuit Customer segments and behaviors across multiple industries.
- Practical experience of agile delivery, including running cross-functional squads, overseeing creation of new design direction and/or development and implementation of digital products and services.
- Effectively communicate thought processes and ideas to inspire and lead other squad members to turn these ideas into engaging, intuitive and usable experiences as part of a digital product or service.
- You are comfortable engaging with senior client stakeholders, strategists, designers and technology teams to workshop and define future digital experiences.
- You are comfortable in a highly agile and iterative environment where you translate business concepts into journeys, screen flows and interactions.

**Desired Background**
- 3+ years of UI/UX design experience for, familiar with design guidelines and processes
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, Figma
- Have good logical thinking, analyzing and problem-solving skills
- Have good communication skills, familiar with user research
- Passion for leveraging design/technology to help solve healthcare issues and improve the lives of both medical professionals and patients.
- A Bachelors in any design field or outstanding design skills.
- Full-time experience as UX/interaction designer.
- Proficient in crafting UX artifacts (e.g. user journeys, wireframes, prototypes) using a variety of UX and design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Invision, Proto.io, Adobe).
- Proficient in undertaking user research, user interviews, concept and usability testing.
