**Job Description**:

- To be thorough on all room categories, room types understand their differences and unique selling points
- Understand the hotels availability and block out dates and the current selling strategies
- Be able to use the Opera Property Management system, in particular the Reservation, Front Desk, Cashiering, Housekeeping and Report screens.
- Ability to key in a reservation for an FIT, GIT and party guest
- To understand the hotels tariff, and all rate structure including retrieving rates and promotions using the Opera System
- To understand the hotels market segmentation, source, and origin in accordance to the AccorHotels corporate guidelines
- To be conversant in the reservations filing system
- To be fully conversant and comply with the Hotels credit facilities
- Understanding the Up sell techniques by offering the guest a higher room category then what has been originally booked

Work Experience

Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum Diploma in Hotel Management, Front Office Management, Business Administration or any recognized certification
- Minimum 1 year working experience in hospitality industry
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented

**Skills**:

- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written & spoken)
- Well verse in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Opera etc.
- Excellent communication skills
- Have the ability to prioritize workload assignments
- Team work
- A well-organized & initiative person
- Able to work independently
- Pleasant and mature personality
- Strong in problem-solving and resolve conflicts
- Analytical and prompt in action
