The Project Coordinator - Partner Business Solutions is part of the Global Network Services (GNS) team that builds strong relationships with Partners licensed to issue and/or acquire American Express cards and merchants, with an overall objective of delivering value and differentiated service, leading to Partners increasing their business on the American Express Network. The Partner Business Solutions team builds and manages relationships with GNP Partners to resolve Partner operations issues, provide consultancy on card processes and systems, ensure Partners adhere to GNS policies and technical specifications, and project manager new capabilities and product implementations with Partners.

This role be based in Malaysia.

**Key **responsibilities**:

- Relationship Management: This role will be assigned specific Partners to manage and will be responsible for developing deep relationships with the operations teams
- Partner Consultancy: Strong knowledge of card issuing and merchant processes, across multiple areas of policy, disputes, fraud, data security and/or emerging card industry capabilities (EMV, 3D secure, Mobile, Tokens, etc.) with the ability to support and influence Partners product strategy.
- Project leadership: Leading new Partner implementations, new product implementations, process re-engineering or new mandatory compliance projects with specific Partners.
- Be the point of contact for operational issues from your assigned Partners. This includes engaging, following up and when necessary escalating with internal teams to find solutions for your Partner.
- Track and report on issues and inquiries received from Partners, work with internal support teams to implement process improvement and to prevent recurrence of issues
- Proactively monitor Partners operational performance, for example % authorization disruptions, and actively work with Partners to improve results.
- Facilitate periodic Partner training sessions.

**Minimum **Qualifications**:

- Understanding of the Network Setup, systems and operational processes that support network participant, credit card and merchant acquiring processing.
- Strong client relationship building with an excellent ability to interact and influence others
- Highly motivated to solve problems and introduce process improvements
- Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Chinese language (must)
