Mandarin Translator

**Job Highlights**

Responsible to interpret written or spoken material into one or more other languages (Mandarin to English and Bahasa Malaysia or Vice versa) ensures meaning, context and technical wording are maintained.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret / Translate verbal and written communications between Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia languages for in-house staff.
- Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation between the languages in the meetings such as phone/web conference, in-house staff meeting, etc.
- Provide administrative supports to the project teams.
- Any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned from time to time by the Management.

**Requirements**:

- Good Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels. Must be proficiency in Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia.
- Must be computer literate. Experienced of interpreter/ translator in construction or manufacturing will be an added advantageous.
- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- 6 Months contract role
- This position will be based at Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang.

Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: RM2,600.00 - RM2,800.00 per month

- Batu Kawan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
