Tax Analyst, Assistant Manager

**What will you be engaged in?**
- Manage and deliver a full range of tax statutory reporting in compliance with laws and regulations within a timeframe.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness in reporting Group's withholding tax to the tax authorities.
- Responsible for matters related to indirect tax, e.g. Sales and Service Tax (SST) and value added taxes - whichever is applicable, including filing of indirect tax return on a timely basis.
- Assist in compliance of transfer pricing requirements, including but not limited to preparation of transfer pricing documentation, involvement in discussion of Inter Company agreements, as well as finalization of management fee and intercompany recharges on regular basis.
- Prepare tax information for annual tax filing as well as preparation of tax computation for estimated prepaid tax payments and deferred tax.
- Perform regular reconciliation checks of tax ledgers to the accounting records.
- Support and provide advisory to other departments on matters related to taxation.
- Attend any queries/tax audit from Inland Revenue, Custom Department, auditors, tax agents and other parties who request for tax information.
- Keep tap of tax announcements/updates and sharing the information to the team whenever the update is relevant to the Group.
- Project manage any implementation for adherence to tax updates as required by Inland Revenue from time to time.
- Other responsibilities may include assisting in tax management activities as well as undertaking special assignments or projects.
- Perform and carry out any ad hoc tasks or responsibilities assigned by the supervisor/department head from time to time.
Apart from the regular tax tasks, you will get to participate in the continuous improvement of the company's internal controls and processes. You may also get a chance to work on special projects when the opportunity arises.

- At least 2 years of experience in handling the tax, directly or indirectly.
- Advanced Diploma/Bachelor's Degree of Accounting or relevant qualification. Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in tax firm/tax department is an advantage
- Independant, attention to detail, meticulous, able to deal with high volume transactions without compromise to quality and dateline.
- Have impeccable work attitude and are willing to do whatever it takes to get stuff done
- A strong and proactive team member with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines
