Professional Receiptionist

**Job Summary**:
As a Receiptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, checking them in and out, managing reservations, and addressing any guest inquiries or issues. Additionally, you will be required to serve alcohol to guests when necessary, adhering to all legal requirements and hotel policies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.
- Manage reservations, both in-person and over the phone.
- Answer and address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely manner.
- Serve alcoholic beverages to guests as needed, following all legal and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Uphold the hotel's policies and standards to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk preferably in the hospitality industry at least 1 year but not more than 2 years.
- Ability to serve alcohol, with a valid certification or license as required by local laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with grace and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant computer systems.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
