**Job Summary**:
The Cost Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing financial operations related to cost control, inventory management, and procurement within the organization. This role involves analyzing cost data, implementing cost-saving measures, ensuring compliance with financial procedures, and collaborating with various departments to optimize operational efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Cost Analysis and Reporting**:

- Analyze and report on variances related to costs, inventory management, and procurement.
- Analyze the cost structure of products/services and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Run monthly cost forecasts and ensure targets are met within specified timelines.
- Prepare and verify reports such as F&B entertainment checks, and cost analysis.
- Study market trends and recommend adjustments to cost-saving strategies.
- Perform daily and monthly F&B reconciliations, using POS system

**2. Inventory Management**:

- Account for inventory movements with proper documentation.
- Define minimum and maximum stock levels, implement par stock management systems.
- Conduct periodic physical counts of beverage stocks and overall inventory and addressing any inventory misstatements.
- Ensure proper receiving and issuing of goods in storeroom and monitor inter transfers.

**3. Cost Control**:

- Implement cost control procedures to optimize operational efficiency.
- Conduct spot checks for spoilage, wastage, and pilferage at all outlets.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with procedures for the control of operating equipment.

**4. Financial Reporting**:

- Develop and maintain a cost accounting system, documents, and records.
- Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors affecting prices and profitability of products/services.
- Assist in audit and general ledger preparation.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Principles (GAAP) for financial statements

**5. Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with respective departments to plan and execute integrated inventory tracking systems using the organization's system from central kitchen to outlets
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment with cost control objectives.
- Attend meetings and provide financial insights to support decision-making processes.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management or any other related fields.
- 2-3 years of experience in a cost control role, preferably within the F&B industry.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of recipe costing and cost analysis techniques is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Food Market Hub is an added advantage

**Salary**: Up to RM3,000.00 per month
