Job Description for English Teacher:

- Plan and prepare teaching materials and resources
- Prepare and mark examination papers
- Assess students’ coursework, assignments, projects, and presentations
- Monitor and report students’ progress to parents and provide guidance to improve students’ learning performance when required
- Responsible for classroom management and students’ discipline
- Create a positive learning environment using creative classroom activities to motivate continuous progress among students
- Work collaboratively with HOD and other teachers to plan and coordinate assigned tasks
- Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc tasks, and other related duties as and when required
- To develop trusting and effective relationships with the all the students in the classes and their parents
- To establish supportive, collaborative, and positive working relationships with all other members of staff
- To abide by the child safeguarding expectations of the school
- To assist in internal sub coverage according to department needs
- To provide any other reasonable duties delegated by the School Management Team

Qualification:

- Minimum TESL holder, Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent is required
- Must have a teaching qualification such as certificate or post-graduate diploma in education or teaching, OR a proven record of successful teaching experience in a similar school
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience teaching Cambridge International or similar British curriculum
- Required Language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
- Curriculum development knowledge is required
- Possess highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skill
- Good references on request
- Have a very strong academic record and standing
- Have a very good understanding of the academic disciplines within the department
- Able to engage constructively with people
- Have excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in using school databases, communications platforms, and educational technology

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
