SEO Specialist

**Area of Content: Sports**
**Search Engine Expertise: Baidu/Google**
**Language: Chinese (priority), English**
**Work Type: Full Time, Hybrid work condition after 1st 3 months.**

**SEO will primarily **serve **the online sports gaming **project, but **the team will also get involved in other **areas **of marketing in the near future for expansion.**

We are looking for a talented and experienced SEO Specialist to join our growing digital marketing team in Malaysia.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be expected to implement results-focused SEO strategies on behalf of our client's customer that is dealing with online sports gaming in Asia (exclusion of Malaysia).

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS**
- To develop a set of strategies to grow our client’s market through use of content and SEO techniques that is able to increase traffic eyeballs.
- To be able to implement, evaluate and report offsite SEO (Specific to Baidu and Google)
- To be able to implement, evaluate and report onsite SEO
- To manage a team that is specific to the above requirements

**SKILLS & COMPETENCE REQUIRED**
- Sports inclined. Understanding the nature of sports is a must.
- Baidu knowledge and strong Chinese market understanding is a must
- Strong knowledge in SEO tools
- Strong analytical skills for understanding ranking algorithms
- An understanding of, or experience of, HTML coding, and preferably Javascript and PHP

**Salary**: RM6,500.00 - RM13,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mont Kiara: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- SEO: 4 years (preferred)
- Digital marketing: 4 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Mandarin (preferred)
