Assist Head of Department.
- Carry out numerical modelling using MIKE/DELFT or equivalent modelling software.
- Organize and interpret engineering data to prepare clear and concise engineering reports and technical documentation.
- Provide specialist technical input to climate change, environmental studies and/or coastal engineering/modelling studies.
- Assist the Project Manager (technical and financial) of ongoing major marine and terrestrial EIA projects and coastal engineering/modelling studies.
- Assist in preparation of technical and financial proposals to secure new projects.
- Performs QA within own field of expertise.
- Maintains project schedule and reports project status.
- Preparing technical/financial proposal.
- Organize data collection and field data measurement works.
- Manage ongoing projects (study/design/site management).
- Provide talks and produce technical papers.

**Minimum Academic Qualification/ Knowledge**:
**Years of Related Working Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field
- Fresh graduates also encouraged to apply

**Skills**:

- Experienced in undertaking marine-related numerical modelling studies, coastal engineering and/or EIA studies,
- Experience in technical study and/or design works
- Exposure in coastal and/or maritime engineering is an added advantage
- Experienced in coastal and marine physical and/or (one-, two
- and/or three-dimensional) numerical modelling with preparation and submission of the report to the authority
- Strong understanding of hydrodynamics,wave, morphology, sediment and water quality with good statistical knowledge
- Comfortable with variable workloads
- Able to liaise with government, clients, consultants and sub-contractors
- Able to implement and maintain ISO 9001 standards
- Able to perform programming using software such as MATLAB, etc.
- Independent yet a team player, resourceful and pro-active
- Resourceful, result-oriented and aggressive in meeting deadlines
- Able to work under pressure
- Proficient in using Microsoft suite
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia

**Salary**: From RM2,800.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
