To prepare a progress payment for sub-contractor and ensure all payment made tallies with actual work done.
- Preparation of project budget.
- Valuation of work done, preparation of main claims, subcontractors payment certification.
- Preparing bills of quantities including measurement of quantities.
- Assists in preparing contract documents for procurement of sub-contract.
- Identify and undertaking costs analysis on sub-contractor variation order.
- Analyse tender received and prepare cost comparison.
- Liaison with project site management team to clarify and resolve issue arising on cost and contractual matters.
- Plan, monitor and control usage of construction material.
- Assist to sourcing, selection and evaluation of sub-contractors / suppliers / specialist.
- To assist Contract Manager in project cost analysis.
- Preparation of variation order.
- Preparation and submission of final account.
- To ensure compliance of Safety, Health and Environment (S.H.E) policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Superior and/or the Management.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum Diploma, Degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or its equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in construction management / quantity surveying.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possess good knowledge in taking-off, costing and tender preparation, evaluation of claims and finalization of accounts.
- Effective writing and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and good leadership skills.
- Meticulous person and detail oriented.
