Position Objective: a) Consulting, and troubleshooting any problem regarding the system b) Attention to detail and software design c) Reduce downtime d) Supervise production operators’ performance and disci Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: a) Identifying technical problems b) Deploying the appropriate IT solutions to solve problems c) Designing computer-based systems or programs d) Identifying user needs with technology e) Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners f) Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks g) Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests h) Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone) i) Setting up accounts for new users j) Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary k) Testing new technology l) Possibly training junior staff Skills and competencies: a) Strong technical knowledge and skills b) Dependability — being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations. c) Leadership — willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction d) Self Control — maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations. e) Attention to Detail — being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks. f) Stress Tolerance — accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations. Performance measures and standards a) Can deal with system security b) Fast in handling any IT issues c) Good average time to detect.
