**Position**: Live Censorship Editor
**Location**: Cyberjaya
**Working Hours**: Monday - Friday / 8.00am - 8.00pm or 8.00pm - 8.00am
**Salary **:RM1,700 - RM2,000 + Allowance + OT (Up to RM1,000)
- To monitor and edit all channels in compliance to the Malaysian Communication &Multimedia Commission’s (MCMC) Content Code and the National Censorship Board’s (LPF) Rules & Guidelines and all the laws, regulation and policies that currently enforced including international convention which are adopted as valid by Malaysia, before being transmitted to viewers (including internal censorship guidelines)
- To operate the live censorship system by performing linear channels compliance editing
- To ensure all assigned channels are filtered as per guidelines & SOP.
- To ensure all television commercials (TVC) and on-air promotions (OAP) are inserted as per provided schedule/urgent request.
- To remove all Cross Channel Promos (CCP) and Foreign Advertisements from incoming feed unless there is a pass-through instruction

**Job Requirement**:

- Must be a Malaysian citizen.
- Holds a Diploma/Degree in any field, preferably in Broadcasting, Creative Multimedia, Mass Communication, Video Editing.
- Computer literate (software/hardware based)
- Knowledge/exposure in broadcasting/editing would be an added advantage.
- Have the ability to learn and operate Video Editing Softwares i.e EVS, Ethere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Terms and Conditions 2
- For Indian & Chinese channels, the editor must be competent in reading & listening.
- Possess strong analytical thinking, maturity to judge content and high awareness to understand sensitivity in this country (political, cultural, social and religious framework)
- Have keen interest in film, music, documentary, sports and news programs
- Able to work fast, independently, alert, quick thinking and a good team player
- Ability to grasp and understand the Content Guidelines issued by MCMC and LPF.
- Capable and willing to work in a shift-based environment

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Rotational shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cyberjaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
