The L1 Technician specializing in Onsite Electronic Driving License Driving Test Systems is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of electronic components within a specialized system designed for conducting driving tests. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, functionality, and accuracy of electronic systems utilized in the assessment of driving skills.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- System Operation: Operate and oversee the electronic driving license driving test system during scheduled tests. Ensure all components are functioning correctly to provide an accurate and reliable evaluation of driving skills.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the electronic driving test system to identify and address potential issues before they impact test operations. Perform regular system checks and updates.
- Calibration: Calibrate and maintain precision instruments and sensors used in the driving test system to ensure accurate measurements and assessments of driving skills.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system maintenance activities, calibration procedures, and troubleshooting efforts. Generate reports for management and quality control purposes.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with software engineers, hardware specialists, and other technicians to address any technical challenges, system upgrades, or improvements required for the electronic driving test system.
- Training: Assist in the training of new staff and test administrators on the proper operation and troubleshooting of the electronic driving test system.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations governing the operation of electronic systems in a driving test environment.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Educational Background: A cert or diploma preferably in Mechatronics, Automotive, Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent field.
- Experience: Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical - electronic systems, mechanical, preferably in the context of combined fields (in ex: electromechanical) are highly welcomed.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on in-depth knowledge in reading-drawing wiring / user diagrams / schematics / instruction manuals. Familiar with calibration processes and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Communication: Effective communication skills to provide technical support, document procedures, on site clients and collaborate with a diverse team. Multilingual is highly welcomed.
- Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address technical issues promptly during driving tests.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and participate in continuous learning to stay updated on advancements in electronic driving test systems.
