St Christopher’s, located on Penang, an island off the West coast of Malaysia is seeking to recruit Primary Teachers to join a dedicated team of professionals.

Established in 1963, we provide international education in a caring and nurturing environment. Even with an enrolment of 600+ children from over 36 different nationalities, the school still maintains the atmosphere of a “small” International School, where a strong and unique family-feeling exists.

St Christopher’s International School was established in 1963 to deliver a broad, balanced British-based curriculum that is tailored to meet the needs of our diverse community.

The school is situated on a 2-acre site in a delightful and easily accessible residential area. The campus offers a secure, caring, friendly and nurturing environment for children aged 3 and 13.

St. Christopher’s has a well-deserved reputation as a happy and positive school that promotes the importance of friendship, respect, trust and values. We refer to our community as the ‘SCIPS Family’ and extend a warm and sincere welcome to all those who come to the school.

Teachers at St. Christopher’s are talented, caring, flexible and child-centred in their approach to education. They are aware that the role of the class teacher extends far beyond the confines of the classrooms, and they are committed to working with the school community to support learning.

Penang, "The Pearl of the Orient", lies off the northwestern coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The tropical island covers an area of about 285 sq. km; it is linked to the mainland by two bridges and a ferry service. Its population of more than 1 million represents a happy mix of the major races found in Malaysia.

Penang enjoys a clean, safe and secure environment. It has an equatorial climate, which is a pleasant mix of warm, sunny days and occasional cooling rain storms, with temperatures between 24oC to 34oC.
