Kitchen Helper

Temple Tree Resort Langkawi, a true unique heritage boutique resort, is looking for Kitchen Helper.

This position is responsible for maintaining high standards of food preparation and service in the appointed kitchen(s), according to the standards set by the Management
- **Food Preparation Assistance**: Assisting chefs and cooks in preparing ingredients, such as chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and preparing sauces or dressings.
- **Dishwashing**: Washing dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils either manually or using commercial dishwashing equipment. This includes ensuring that all items are cleaned thoroughly and sanitized.
- **Cleaning and Sanitizing**: Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area, including countertops, floors, equipment, and storage areas. This involves regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces to prevent the buildup of dirt and bacteria.
- **Stocking Supplies**: Keeping track of inventory and restocking kitchen supplies such as food ingredients, cleaning chemicals, and disposable items like napkins and paper towels.
- **Waste Management**: Disposing of kitchen waste properly, including emptying trash bins and recycling bins as needed.
- **Assisting with Kitchen Operations**: Supporting kitchen staff during busy periods by fetching ingredients, carrying equipment, or helping to plate dishes.
- **Following Safety Procedures**: Adhering to safety and hygiene standards at all times, including proper handling of food, use of protective gear like gloves and aprons, and following protocols for cleaning and sanitizing.
- **Teamwork and Communication**: Collaborating with other kitchen staff and communicating effectively to ensure smooth coordination of tasks and efficient workflow.
- **Adaptability**: Being flexible and willing to assist with various tasks as needed, depending on the specific requirements of the kitchen and the demands of the shift.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,700.00 per month
