Laboratory Analyst

**Key Responsibilities:

- **
- Conduct chemical testing and instrumental analysis of all raw materials, in process and finished products including by products and external samples;
- Responsible in laboratory daily operations and maintenance in accordance to standard operating procedures and safety practices;
- Pre-Operation checklist such as XRF status, water in the cooler, oil and C&S and gas levels in all gas cylinders for all laboratory equipment for the above analysis;
- Responsible for proper storage of all the samples received for analysis in the storage room for future reference;
- Responsible for proper handling over and taking over of pending laboratory analytical works during shift change over;
- Coordinate with immediate superior/Manager in all aspects;
- Housekeeping before and after shift to maintain the cleanliness in laboratory and to ensure the working station is neat and tidy after sample preparation in the sampling room;
- To comply with company Safety Policy and Procedures, 5S practice;
- To undertake any other job assigned by immediate Superior or Management from time to time;
**Requirement**:

- At least 3 years of working experience as a laboratory analyst;
- Able to work independently and possess good laboratory practices;
- Computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office;
- Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills;
- Willing to work in shift/Public Holiday/Over Time;
