Cabinet Maker

Taking customer orders and agreeing on the specifications - Reviewing drawings and choosing appropriate materials, such as the correct type of timber, veneer or synthetic board - Using computer-aided design programs to perform calculations and refine drawings - Cutting and joining wood to make parts according to the plans - Assembling cabinets and furniture from shaped components - Making cabinetry and furniture pieces according to specifications, including hinges, locks and handles - Repairing or refurbishing older furniture - Inspecting each completed item to ensure that it has been constructed accurately, and that the necessary finishes have been applied - Advising on appropriate care for finished products upon request - Working hours 8.30am - 5.30pm - Allowance will be provided - Incentive will be given
