Valet Parking Jockey

As a Valet Parking Jockey,

you will be responsible for providing efficient and professional valet parking services to guests. Your primary role involves safely parking and retrieving vehicles, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Vehicle Handling:

- Safely drive and park guests' vehicles in designated parking areas.
- Exercise care and attention to avoid any damage to vehicles.

2. Customer Service:

- Greet guests with a friendly and courteous demeanor.
- Assist guests in and out of their vehicles, providing any necessary help.

3. Valet Ticket Management:

- Issue valet tickets to guests upon vehicle drop-off.
- Ensure accurate matching of tickets to corresponding vehicles.

4. Communication:

- Effectively communicate with Valet Parking Counter Attendants regarding vehicle locations and customer preferences.
- Notify the valet counter of any issues or special requests from guests.

5. Traffic Control:

- Direct vehicles in and out of the valet parking area safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a smooth flow of traffic within the parking facility.

6. Security and Safety:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while driving and parking vehicles.

7. Cleanliness and Maintenance:

- Keep the valet parking area organized and free of debris.
- Report any maintenance issues with vehicles or equipment to the appropriate personnel.

- Provide information to the Valet Parking Counter Attendants for transaction processing.

9. Team Collaboration:

- Work collaboratively with other valet parking staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
- Assist colleagues during peak periods or as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a valet parking jockey or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Excellent driving skills and familiarity with a variety of vehicle types.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to vehicle safety.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including walking and standing for extended periods.
