Wirecut Programmer Expertise

**Responsibilities**:

- Use precision instruments to plan, inspect, layout and perform all machining operations.
- Set up EDM machine to properly cut desired pieces. Involves deciding the set-up of the part and the block to best utilize machinery and efficient use of materials.
- To fabricate parts/components of jigs, fixtures, precision machining parts according to the design's requirement.
- Set up EDM machine to properly cut desired pieces. Involves deciding the set-up of the part and the block to best utilize machinery and efficient use of materials.
- Measure and inspect for compliance to drawing, take a set of drawings and prepare, setup and operate the Wire EDM machines to make the part(s)
- Identify areas for improvement, including the creation of new tooling and fixtures, and improve batch scheduling to take advantage of the equipment
- Interpolate the WIRE EDM cutting path and profile to achieve the best possible surface finish and accuracy in taper angle wire EDM
