F&b Captain

SUMMARY

Assist Restaurant Manager in ensuring smooth operations of the sections appointed in the F&B and maximize sales, maintain food / beverage / service quality to ensure customer satisfaction. Motivate and supervise staff, while maintaining outstanding guest relations.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**1.** **Standard Performance / Responsibility**
- To have complete knowledge on the food / beverage / service.
- Monitors and ensure adherence to all service standards and SOPs (restaurants / banquet / beverage - as applicable).
- Control and supervises the preparation of all the F&B products to ensure that correct measures and presentations are followed as per the standard of operation of food and beverage department. Ensure and consistent the quality of food and beverage.
- Able to assign and delegate task on daily operation.
- Ensure that all mise-en-place is sufficient during every meal period.
- In charge of floor service and cashiering.
- Interacts and cooperates in coordinating functions activities with other Food and Beverage Outlets and other Departments as required.
- Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas.
- Ensure all daily and monthly reports are detailed and submitted in a timely matter.
- Complete scheduled inventories and stock and assist in controlling inventory of all restaurant and bar supplies.
- Ensure all delegated tasks are completed to performance standards.

**2.** **Leadership**
- Assist in managing F & B department and cover shifts as needed.
- Conduct daily briefing on the restaurant operations.
- Ensures co-operation and smooth communication between staff in section(s) appointed and other departments.
- Able to lead the team and acts as Manager on Duty in the absence of Manager.
- Assist on training all new hires to ensure adequate operation in outlets.
- Able to lead and guide on casual worker.

**Salary**: RM1,700.00 per month
