Technical Writer

**POSITION**

Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: Malaysia - Selangor or Greece Halandri Athens

Contract type: Permanent

Business Line: Providing the most extensive product and service portfolios, where the airfield, apron, tower and terminal are the foundation for fully integrated solutions to support airport development and optimize operational procedures.

**The opportunity**

**You will make an impact by**
- Create high-quality user documentation that meets standards that is appropriate and easy to use
- Maintain ADB SAFEGATES’s external/customer documentation library strategy, inclusive of integrations between PIM, website and other sources, while ensuring accuracy of content.
- Library includes product datasheets and manuals currently managed in Heretto CCMS
- Generating new documents for product releases with stakeholder support, as well as maintenance of existing documents
- Study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples with the ability to extract information and convert it to the appropriate level for the intended audience.

**The talent we want to inspire has**
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English
- The ability to explain scientific and technical ideas in clear language
- The ability to study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples to extract information and convert it to the appropriate level for the intended audience
- Clean up and refine technical drawings in tools such as Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator etc. to ensure their usability and clarity in documentation, enhancing the overall quality and effectiveness of the materials
- Min.3 year of experience as a technical writer (or similar role) in an industrial environment
- A proactive, hands-on mentality. You don't stay glued to your desk all day, but get out to work on projects, solve issues and talk to stakeholders
- An international, intercultural mindset and experience and love working with, and learning from, colleagues and clients around the globe

**This would be a plus but not a must**
- Experience working with structured, topic based content systems, CCMS
- Experience of DITA
- Experience working with Heretto CCMS
- Experience of XML
- Experience of CSS
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- Additional languages such as
- Spanish
- French
- German
