Production Planner

The role of a Production Planner is crucial in ensuring efficient manufacturing operations by creating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and optimizing resources to meet production targets. This position requires a blend of analytical, organizational, and communication skills to coordinate with various departments and maintain smooth production processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Scheduling**: Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and production capacity to ensure timely delivery of products.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to prevent shortages or excess stock. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- **Resource Optimization**: Coordinate with production teams to allocate resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet production targets and minimize downtime.
- **Data Analysis**: Analyze production data, including performance metrics, production costs, and inventory turnover, to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- **Production Coordination**: Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, logistics, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure seamless coordination and resolve production-related issues.
- **Capacity Planning**: Evaluate production capacity and constraints to develop long-term production plans and strategies for scaling production based on business needs and market demand.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements in production workflows. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance production efficiency and quality.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and follow up skills
- Able to work in Bandar Enstek

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,189.08 per month
