**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure that pipeline construction works are being carry out in accordance with procedure and specification including CP installation, related civil works, markers, pick up of as-built, reinstatement works and etc.
- Ensure materials used in accordance with procedure and specification."
- Ensure pipe size, thickness, grade, length, pipe number, fittings and any other related material to construction are in accordance with procedure and specification.
- Ensure pipe is holiday detected, do coating repair before lower in.
- Ensure repair of defect such as pinhole and scratch is done after inspection.
- Ensure backfilling is following procedure.
- Prepare QC Report such as lower in report, holiday detection, welding report, NDT report, third party endorsement and etc.
- Coordinate the radiography inspection.
- Provide joint number for welding.
- Visual inspection on pipe fit up and welding.
- Inspect welding tools, equipment, machinery and materials.
- Prepare traceability of joint and pipes.
- Assist drought person in preparing the as-built drawing e.g. to includes all the traceability pipe details, markers, CP post, EMS and etc.
- Ensure mill certificates are available for materials, which required certificates such as valve, fitting bend and etc.
- Collect radiography reports and films and arrange for third party endorsement.
- Maintains all QC records and documents properly.
- Ensure welders are qualified.
- Monitor pipe cleaning & testing process and its relevant works are following the specification and procedures.
- Check oxygen level inside pipe prior to commissioning work and commissioning works.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Possess either Diploma in Gas Engineering Technology from IKM or Certificate in Welding Technology from recognized relevant Institute.
- Possess CSWIP 3.1 - Welding Inspector Level 2 Certification.
- Competent Gas Fitter 1 or Gas Fitter 2 - Registered with Energy Commission (Gas Div.).
- Have minimum 3 years’ experience working in Gas Malaysia Distribution Sdn Bhd Projects.
- Able to speak and write in Bahasa Malaysia.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Punctual and medically fit.
- Dependable and Reliable.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is an added advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
