Remittance Executive

**Position Overview**:
As a Remittance Executive, you will be responsible for facilitating efficient and timely transfer of funds domestically and internationally, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Process Remittance Transactions:
- Receive, verify, and process remittance requests from customers.
- Ensure accuracy of transaction details, including recipient information and currency exchange rates.
- Execute transactions promptly and efficiently using designated systems and platforms.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Adhere to regulatory guidelines and company policies regarding remittance transactions.
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions.
- Customer Service:
- Provide personalized assistance to customers regarding remittance services.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Offer guidance and support to customers on transaction processes, fees, and currency exchange rates.
- Operational Support:
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve transaction-related issues or discrepancies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Contribute to team goals and initiatives to meet performance targets.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with remittance transactions.
- Monitor transaction patterns and report any suspicious activities or fraud indicators.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting remittance operations.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in remittance operations, banking, or financial services industry is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with remittance software/systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Mandarin Chinese preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
