ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To be responsible for the overall Parent Stock (PS) flock
- Farm bio-security guidelines
- Flock health services and diagnose diseases
- Prescribe medication
- Work process of vaccination of chicks
- Monitoring the blood sampling routine and serology monitoring informing the appropriate farm management based on the maturity of the bird and arranging meetings twice a month.
- Collaboration with suppliers and order medication and vaccination based on the program as needed.
- To be accountable for all financial functions related to veterinary medication, laboratory, and store including asset management, expenditure monitoring, and stock movement
- Monitoring the laboratory veterinary personnel and workflow maintenance.
- Established a close collaboration with all relevant authorities including the Veterinary Department on regular test samplings and analysis required under My GAP and SECP certification.
- Ensure farming activities are undertaken in accordance with the company's standards & practices.
- Keep an up-to-date knowledge of farming management, sanitation, and pest, and disease control and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
- Monitor day-to-day operations, identify problems, and take corrective actions.
- Responding to emergency calls related to flock health.
- Continuous monitoring of the records on poultry performance and visiting every farm on a rotational basis according to the checklist
- Ability to positively communicate with farm supervisor, manager farm QC, and other staff.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Those without academic qualifications but possess relevant experience and track records will also be considered.
- Effective communication abilities with all poultry farm managers and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Being multilingual will be an added advantage
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
