Conduct research on the market trends, consumer behaviors and competitor landscape.
- Seek new sources of prospective customer data and provide recommendations to Line Manager/Leadership Team (new channel).
- Manage customized research studies to ensure business questions are answered timely, providing actionable and meaningful insights to enable in-depth understanding of episodes, pleasure, and pain points along the products route-to-market planning.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand market share and increase brand awareness in targeted regions or demographic segments, leveraging consumer insights and market intelligence to inform decision-making
- Scouting and furnishing insights on emerging outlets or vape chain stores for potential acquisition by the distribution or commercial team
- Identify potential avenues for business expansion within Vape Retail IND stores by identifying areas of opportunity
- Assist to integrate different data sources to provide consumer/market insights and facilitate business impact recommendation/next step, contributing to fact-based consumer targeting, and evaluation of brand/trade activations.
- Being secondary contact point between distributors and relationship manager OR cross function department for deployment planning and alignment on trade program.
- Inclusive of monitoring, assessment & evaluation of implemented marketing between distributors and consumers.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
- Support trade program development and improvements based on analysis of market dynamics, performance and in consideration of consumer needs across different groups and roles of different channels.
- Supporting in preparing reports/slides by analyzing and summarizing data (ie. Forecasts, IMS, offtake) - onboarding Vendors and liaising with LEX for contract drafting.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma OR Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or Business Administration preferred
- 2-3 years working experience in marketing research, in research agencies or FMCG companies (preferably Vape Industry)
- Possess high level of timely delivery of data accuracy, and quality.
- Strategic thinker and able to conceptualize solutions.
- Able to articulate ideas and thoughts in the impactful way to deliver insights.
- Demonstrate analytical, business-acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills with proven influencing and delivery power to work across-functionally and collaborate.
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
