- The brand has traded in Paris Fashion Week trade since 2010, and its designs have been worn by Hollywood celebrities at movie premieres and during important awards events such as Screen Actors Guild Awards, Golden Globe Awards and Vanity Fair’s Oscar Parties in Los Angeles._

**Main Responsibilities**:
Drafter
- Draw and design pattern pieces by using traditional hand-drawing methods according to the sketch given on the production sheet.
- Draping pieces of material over a dummy, shaping and pinning them around the ‘body’ until they fit correctly.
- Altering and shaping flat, standard pattern ‘blocks’ into a style.
- Modifying non-standard pattern ‘bases’ taken from the company’s pattern library.
- Cut out pattern pieces with written details that are cut and sewn into sample garments and stock order garments.
- Understanding design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing pattern pieces, toiles, and technical specifications for designs.
- Suggesting better technical constructions for the design given to the designers.
- Working with the designer, cutter, and tailor on the given design by supervising the creation of these, including fitting, detailing and adaptions.
- Grading pattern pieces of a style into different sizes
- Fit and study the garments of customers to determine required alterations.
- Responsible for garment alterations, such as tapering pant legs, narrowing lapels, and adding or removing padding.
- Check and correct pattern pieces of a style that is listed on the order sheet before passing them to the cutter or outsourcing production team.
- Cut and sew sample garments using muslin.
- Records every customer’s body measurement detail, i.e. bust, waist, hip, etc.
- Arrange extra unused fabrics from custom orders in boxes.
- Organize pattern pieces by style and season/collection in labeled boxes and cupboards.

Tailor
- Sew garments, using needles and thread or sewing machines.
- Assemble garment parts and join parts with basting stitches, using needles and thread or a sewing machine.
- Remove stitches from garments to be altered, using an unpacker and snippers.
- Examine tags on garments to determine alterations that are needed.
- Press garments, using steam irons or pressing machines.
- Maintain garment drape and proportions as alterations are performed.
- Stitches two or more fabrics of the same pattern piece together, or with other material using a basting stitch.
- Record the time taken to complete each garment in the logbook.

**Requirements**:

- Create preliminary drafts and patterns of garments based on designer sketches and specifications.
- Ensure the accuracy and precision of drafts and patterns to ensure the final product meets design requirements.
- Understand and follow designer requirements and instructions to ensure drafts and patterns align with design concepts.
- Participate in sample making and adjustments to meet client needs and requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Passion for fashion and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.
- Required language(s): English, Mandarin
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
