Agronomist Intern

**ABOUT THE JOB**

The Agronomy Intern will work closely with Agronomy / R&D to acquire a broad understanding of core agronomy skills. These include crop-nutrient management, tailoring specific crop fertilisation programmes, crop protection measures, and precision agriculture technology, among others.

The intern's primary focus will be to support field research, employing cutting-edge techniques and technologies to enhance crop yields and quality.

**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist and be responsible for assigned sales/research projects.
- Participate in collection of foliar and soil samplings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of agronomic programmes.
- Assist in the maintenance of lab equipment and facilities.
- Attend technical and/or sales training sessions and meetings as required.

**QUALIFICATION**
- Pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or related field.
- Strong interest in Agriculture and Agronomy.
- Possess good analytical, writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Valid driver’s license.

**Job Type**: Internship

**Salary**: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Shah Alam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- STM/STPM (preferred)
