Responsibilities: - Assist in maintaining financial records, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. - Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests. - Reconcile bank statements and perform periodic financial audits. - Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursement. - Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. - Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and employees regarding financial transactions. - Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions. - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. - Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and procedures. Requirements: - Certificates, Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role will be an advantage. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Effective communication skills in English and Malay. - Malaysian citizenship or valid work permit in Malaysia. Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position ranges from RM1800 to RM5000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. Annual leave and public holiday benefits.
