Legal Counsel

Leading all legal and compliance matters for Katimas Group. To initiate and implement legal policies and processes in order to provide legal support across the group in the areas of corporate, commercial, compliance and litigation matters, including issues arising from the operational business. Actively supports contract negotiations with the objective to minimize company's risk exposure. Advise, coordinate and be involved in strategic planning and new business ventures. To manage legal risks within the business by providing legal advice to the business's senior leadership in all legal matters. Develop policies and manage roll-out consistent with the company policies including but not limited to carrying out audit and investigations. To monitor and review legislative developments and support the business in the implementation when required. Requirement: Possess Degree in Law or equivalent. Preferably at least 5-8 years or related working experience. Highly organized, meticulous and have excellent critical thinking. Able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently. High degree of self-initiative and result oriented.
