**Job description**
Responsible to provide diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitative audiological services to patients of all ages. He/she will with together with other medical professional to determine the appropriate treatments, and performing tests on patients.
**Duties and responsibilities**
1. Conducting auditory tests when required by a physician.
2. Defines patient hearing impairment and balance disorder by conferring with referring, selecting and administering relevant tests, operating diagnostic equipment, determining type and degree of hearing impairment and effects on comprehension and speech, interpreting audiometric diagnostic data, preparing diagnostic reports.
3. Determine appropriate assessment tools and strategies and implement appropriate treatment plans for all patients receiving rehabilitative services.
5. Maintains patient records by recording and updating evaluations, changes, progress and treatments.
4. Maintain and Provide proper care for departmental equipment.
5. Conduct counselling to patients and their families to help them adjust to hearing loss and balance.
6. Ensure legal accreditation compliance by adhering to local regulations and professional standards.
7. Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
8. Performs other duties as assigned by the head of department.
