Assistant Aquarium Technician

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Aquarium Technician located in Klang (nearby Taman Sentosa). The Assistant Aquarium Technician will be receiving direct coaching from the founder especially ways to do major overhaul & aquarium cleaning in accordance to Your Aqua Stop’s practices. Plus, the Assistant Aquarium Technician is responsible for maintaining and overseeing the local aquariums, ensuring that all tanks are clean and all aquatic life is healthy, and performing routine maintenance tasks such as water changes and filter cleanings.

**Qualifications**
- Open to Malaysians only
- Passion > qualifications We’re looking for someone who’s passionate in aquatic/aquariuM/Fish pond & willing to be trained and received new knowledge from the founder
- Prior experience in aquarium maintenance or aquatics is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including aquariums, bags of aquarium media, bags of gravel and buckets of water
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate well with coworkers and customers
- Must be able to work on weekends or public holidays (will inform early if needed and include rest day/ public holiday's rate)
- Minimum SPM/ equivalent qualifications
- Must know how to converse in Bahasa Melayu & conversational English as we deal mostly with Malaysians from various backgrounds
- Possess own transport/ have a valid driving license

**Typical working hours**
- Monday
- Friday: 9AM to 6PM
