Technician, Fire

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Ensure that contractors in compliance with mall requirements when carrying out their duties

2. Ensure new fire protection installations and maintenances are safe, correct and legal and in accordance with the existing acts and regulations

3. Perform preventive maintenance checks on the fire safety systems and LPG systems (Smoke detectors, sprinklers, sprinkler valves, Fire Pump Rooms, Magnetic Doors, Roller Shutters, Fire Extinguishers, Wet Risers, Hose Reels, Panic Buttons, Testing Panel Fire Alarms, Testing Fireman Intercoms, Gas Risers at F&B Outlets and “Keluar” Signs)

4. Assist with EHS Manager to ensure yearly Bomba inspection is completed and in accordance with Bomba requirements

5. Maintain plant equipment to ensure minimum down time

6. Liaise with contractors in areas where responsible for maintenance and repair

7. Attend to tenant complaints, inspection, setup and reparation requests by the management and the tenants

8. Investigate and trouble shoot system and equipment failure

9. Maintain records of jobs performed and ensure that all documentation is completed as accordance to mall’s Standard Operation Procedure (SOP)

10. Identify and highlight fire safety and LPG non-conformance issues

11. Handle “Orang Bertanggungjawab (OB)” for LPG under Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirement

12. Perform duties of specific trades when necessary (CCTV, BAS, Panic Buttons, PA System, Lift and Escalator, etc)

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Relevant certificate/diploma
- Minimum 2 years working experience in similar capacity
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
