Draughtsman

Duties and responsibilities of a Draughtsman in the Packaging Department:
1. *Design Creation*: Develop detailed packaging designs, including containers, boxes, labels, and other packaging materials, based on product specifications and requirements.

2. *CAD Drafting*: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create precise technical drawings and blueprints for packaging components, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards.

3. *Collaboration*: Work closely with packaging engineers, designers, and other team members to brainstorm ideas, exchange feedback, and refine packaging concepts to meet functional and aesthetic objectives.

4. *Prototype Development*: Assist in the creation of packaging prototypes and mock-ups for testing and evaluation purposes, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions to optimize design performance.

5. *Material Selection*: Research and recommend appropriate packaging materials, considering factors such as durability, sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

6. *Regulatory Compliance*: Ensure that packaging designs comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and environmental guidelines, such as FDA regulations, ASTM standards, and recycling guidelines.

7. *Quality Control*: Conduct thorough reviews and inspections of packaging drawings and prototypes to identify any potential issues or discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and functionality.

8. *Cost Optimization*: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in packaging design and production processes, without compromising quality or performance.

9. *Documentation*: Maintain accurate records and documentation of packaging designs, revisions, and specifications, ensuring that all relevant information is properly documented and accessible for reference.

10. *Continuous Improvement*: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in packaging design and engineering, and proactively seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
