Junior Chemist

Job Summary

To carry out lab testing, evaluate raw materials, intermediate streams and finished products assuring conformity to established specifications to ensure quality while following safety guidelines.

**Job Role**
- Carry out materials and product testing
- Perform quality work in tight deadline
- Follow up for research development of new products.
- Coordinate for sourcing for equipment, raw materials and new markets (demands).
- Ensure calibration and documentation for ISO (one of the selected Internal Auditor/ QMS community.
- Provide technical services/trouble shootings for finished products
- Write out technical report and result
- Assist in the R&D for new products and customer’s requirements
- Assist in the Quality Control of raw materials and finished products.
- Carry out research on process enhancement, new material development, or new technology for quality improvement or cost down initiative.
- Technical support on the production process, raw material analysis, quality troubleshooting, and customer enquiry

**Requirements**:

- Possess minimum with Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar industry ( COLOR & PRINTING)
- Proficient in written & spoken English
- Good knowledge of laboratory health & safety standards
- Attention to details
- Independent; good initiative with teamwork
- Passionate in R&D and research work
- Based at Meru, KLANG Selangor.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

**Salary**: RM2,300.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
