Group Mixologist

**POSITION STATEMENT**

The Group Mixologist primary role is to curate, sell and serve alcoholic beverages to guest that are of legal drinking age and to maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked bar. This role will also ensure compliance with local council drinking law and requirements.

The Group Mixologist will be based in Tamarind Springs, Kuala Lumpur, while overlooking the overall bar program across Samadhi Group.

**JOB DESCRIPTIONS**
- Reports to the Restaurant Manager & Group General Manager
- Create, innovate, and mix beverages using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits.
- Informs customer about current drinks and cocktail specials and practice suggestive selling of beverages and food.
- Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories.
- Providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons.
- Ensure that all drinks and food are still fresh and within expire date.
- Helps maintain cleanliness of bar, lounge and restaurant areas and equipment, signs, tables, chairs, stainless steel.
- Records all sales working closely together with the cashier.
- Completes Daily/weekly/monthly Reports, review any shortages and overages and records them for management review.
- Follow work schedule provided and review upcoming events.
- Setup bar and seating area prior to opening.
- Coordinate with Restaurant Manager in taking and ordering of beverages. Informs Manager when new bottles of liquor or supplies are needed
- Cleans all surfaces during shift and at end of shift.
- Maintains security of all bar supplies and inventory
- Maintains a safe work environment at all times.
- Serves food and beverage accordingly during restaurant service hours
**Job Requirements**
- 5 or more years in Mixology experience preferred
- Knowledge in Asian inspired cocktails and beverages is a plus
- Extensive knowledge in bar, beverages, recipe development and garnishing required
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for long periods and repeatedly lift materials weighing up to 25kg
- Ability to travel to different Samadhi properties
- Location: Tamarind Springs, Ampang

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
